Whether you’re visiting Switzerland or living nearby, Montreux offers some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes — from lakeside views to vineyards and quiet mountain spots.
But here’s the thing…
The “popular” locations you see online?
They’re often crowded, overused, and not always the best place to actually enjoy your experience.
So in this guide, I’ll share a mix of iconic spots and more शांत, lesser-known locations — the kind of places where you can actually relax, move, and forget the camera is even there.
(And yes… I may keep a few secret spots up my sleeve 😉)
A classic — and for good reason.
The vineyards of Lavaux offer sweeping views over Lake Geneva, especially at golden hour when everything turns soft and warm.
That said… it’s also one of the most visited areas in the region.
👉 Which is why timing (and knowing where to go) makes all the difference.
I usually guide my clients to quieter sections or less obvious paths — places where you can still enjoy the view without feeling like you’re in the middle of a tourist stop.
One of the most famous landmarks near Montreux — and yes, it’s stunning.
But also… very busy during the day.
The magic here?
👉 Early morning or soft evening light.
That’s when it feels calm, almost cinematic — and when we can create something that doesn’t feel like a postcard everyone else already has.
Some of my favorite sessions don’t happen in “famous” places at all.
Think:
• small hidden beaches
• quiet lakeside paths
• soft light reflecting on the water
These spots are perfect if you want something that feels natural, relaxed, and truly you.
And honestly?
This is where people forget they’re being photographed.
Just a short drive above Montreux, everything changes.
The air feels different.
The light filters through the trees.
And suddenly — it’s quiet.
These locations are perfect for:
• movement
• candid moments
• a more intimate, grounded atmosphere
No crowds. No pressure. Just space to breathe.
Over the years, I’ve spent a lot of time exploring this region — hiking, scouting, getting lost on purpose…
And that’s how I find the places I use for my sessions.
Not just locations that look beautiful, but places that feel calm, meaningful, and respectful of the environment.
Some of these spots are intentionally not shared publicly.
Not to be mysterious… but to preserve them — and to keep your experience feeling personal and unique.
When you book a session with me, I guide you to locations that match your vibe, the light, the season… and the kind of experience you actually want.
You don’t need to figure this out alone.
Most of my clients come to me saying:
“I have no idea where to go… and I’m awkward in photos.”
Perfect. That’s exactly where we start.
I help you:
• choose the right location
• plan the timing & light
• guide you during the session so it feels natural
